The best pointless app besides the lighter thingy

This app needs a lot of work to be useful.

It only takes barcode with 13 numbers. most cards have less than 13 so this is useless. If they fix it, I may give it a try.

Hi! Havent used this application yet but im sure it works! You need to adjust this app to make it work internationally though, as it seems, you live in Italy? And the barcodes may be different in Italy than in US or Spain for example. You need to find out the different designs of barcodes so that we can select the one that fits us. Great idea though, this would be really useful when going shopping :D

Am I doing something wrong? Needs to work for what I want to use it for but first... How does this work?

What the heck is this app supposed to be for???

It needs to recognize barcodes with fewer digits but otherwise it performed spectacularly at CVS

This doesnt work with my cards because none are exactly 13 numbers long. I dont understand why it cant handle various lengths.

I wanted to like this app but it turns out that all but one of my courtesy card bar codes are 13 numbers. The ones that are not 13 numbers are Stop&Shop, A&P, CVS, PertSmart, Shop Rite, Wegmans, Vitamin Shoppe

All the reviews that said they couldnt find any 13 digit bar codes should try putting a zero in first. Most of the bar codes I tried were 12 digit and placing the zero in first made the bar code identical to the one I was using. I have version 1.1 so maybe this wasnt possible with version 1.0. If not, it looks like the problem has been resolved. Only 4 stars because I havent had a chance to see if a bar code scanner will read a bar code off the glossy iPhone screen.

This only lets you store bar codes like the little key tag for your local grocery store and such.

I cannot help the users who do not understand the difference between UPC and other formats. This app does what it is supposed to. I wish checksum auto-calculate...

Nothing it only shows you a bar code not the item or info =-( good thing this waz not on sale.

Whats with the 13 # code, they need to do theire research. Some of my codes even have letters.

This is a great idea. Unfortunately, it needs some work. The application assumes that every bar code will have 13 digits, but the very first one I tried to enter only had 12 digits. The app refused to let me enter a 12-digit number, so it was unable to represent the bar code I needed.

It wont take any 12 digit barcodes... And I can only find 13 digit ones on books. T.T update the standard barcode isnt standard.

Doesnt work for Safeway , folds gym, giant supermarket, etc even when I add a 0 in front
